24 August 2011

It was announced on 2 January 2011 with the greatest regret and the sincerest apologies to the Principality of Hutt River and the nations of the Pacific Rim that the Government terminated the relationship between the Republic of Timucua and Mr. Dragan Serdar of Wellington, New Zealand as our nation's Honorary Representative.

Should any nation be contacted by any representative outside of North America, they should be wary as we do not have any vetted representatives deployed outside of North America at this time.

Again the Government of Timucua has expressed its sincerest apologies to the nations affected by any misrepresentation by our former representatives.

The formal proclamation of removal is available from the Government of Timucua and is on file with the Government in the Tribal Archives.

It has come to our attention that there is a matter which may be of concern to our citizens and allies.

This is the matter of the Codex Alimentarius.

It is a controversial topic.

On one side the United Nations is stating that they are seeking to introduce fair trade food and safety standards to medical and food industries worldwide.  Here is their link so that you can research their side of the story.

On the other side there are some concerned naturalists and environmentalists who believe this may be a way for big pharmacy companies to force their way into a monopoly of these industries.  Here's a link that illustrates their side of the story.

We encourage our citizens and allies to review the material for yourselves and decide for yourselves which side to take.

This was forwarded to you by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs who was first notified by a concerned world citizen of this matter.

And you think we're having fun  here in Florida......................

Guess what was found just south of Jacksonville..

Near the St. Augustine outlet, in a new KB homes subdivision.

 15 foot Eastern Diamondback rattlesnake.

                Largest ever caught on record.

After seeing this, I did a little research, and learned the following:

One bite from a snake this large contains enough venom to kill over 40 full grown men.

The head alone is larger than the hand of a normal sized man.

This snake was probably alive  when George H. W. Bush was President.

A bite from those fangs would equal being penetrated by two  1/4 inch screwdrivers.

A snake this size could easily swallow a 2 year-old child.

A snake this size has an approximately 5 and 1/2 foot accurate striking distance. (The distance for an average size Rattlesnake is about 2 feet)

Judging by the size of the snake, it is estimated to weigh over 170 pounds. How much do you weigh?

This information was forwarded to us by a friend of the Republic.  We are in our friend's debt for their astute and timely work on notifying the Republic of this threat.

The US and Florida authorities had as usual failed to notify our nation of such a threat that would have grave consequences should our citizens come across such a beast as this.

It is hoped by this notification that our citizens will be vigilant against this threat.

This was found only 30 miles from the governmental offices of the Republic.
